So there's this boy. He's cute and flattering and overly lonely, looking for a girl. He's nice and friendly and funny and passionate about music and understanding and caring.
We've been getting to know each other fairly well over the past week, and I was excited at the prospect of  another relationship finally. However, I'm starting to think it wont work out at all.

I'm taking this year to save up for university, to try things and learn things that interest me; read books I want to read and learn languages I want to learn and take dance classes to try out a passion! I want to volunteer and spend time with family and pray. I want to take this year to grow and take advantage of my temporary freedom.

He goes to bed late and wakes up late. I go to bed at as soon as I can and wake up as soon as I can.
He works three days a week to barely scrape by. I work seven days a week to save for the future.
He goes where the days bring him. I plan out and do things that will be productive and help me grow.

We live different lives and are heading in different directions.
I don't want to be pulled onto his path and I would fall off my path trying to pull him on.

All there is to do is to let go before it gets started
And continue on my way to all things better.
